About Us

Justa Pasta Co. was founded in Hood River, Oregon in 1990. Initially we provided local restaurants with fresh pastas and ravioli. In 1994, as the demand for our pastas and raviolis rose in the Portland metro area, we moved our factory to NW Portland. We still use the same tried and true methods and recipes to make the pastas and raviolis, which we now serve almost exclusively in our restaurant.

Our restaurant (which expanded in May of 2005) seats 64 and our focus has been and continues to be around the fresh pastas and ravioli which we make on a daily basis. Using family recipes as our basis, our menu utilizes the local, sustainable bounty found throughout the Pacific Northwest. Whenever possible, we use locally grown organic produce, and all of our beef, poultry and lamb (Cascade Natural beef, Carlton Farms pork, Draper Farms chicken to name a few) products are from farms which do not use growth hormones or antibiotics.

Our approach to cuisine is simple. We believe that if you start with excellent ingredients, prepare them simply and deftly and (most importantly!) with love, you will end up with an excellent product. This is our goal every day.
